Our History
HG Creative started with a simple truth: we’ve lived the industries we now serve. Before we ever touched a marketing campaign, we were pouring concrete, wiring homes, running equipment, framing walls, and getting our hands dirty on job sites across West Texas.
We know what it’s like to grow a business in the trades because we’ve done it. We’ve faced the same challenges. Finding good clients. Staying competitive. Standing out in a local market where word-of-mouth can only take you so far.
That’s where the idea for HG Creative came from. We saw a gap. Skilled companies were doing great work but struggling to reach the people who needed them most. So we took our real-world experience and combined it with creative strategy, digital tools, and a marketing mindset focused on results.
What began as small projects for friends in construction and contracting has grown into a full-service agency serving builders, remodelers, HVAC companies, landscapers, electricians, plumbers, and more across Texas and beyond.
Today, HG Creative exists to support the industries that built us. We’re not just another marketing company. We’re a team that understands your work, respects your trade, and knows how to help you grow.
Founded in Seminole, TX as TikTak Designs
HG Creative began as TikTak Designs, a small design studio based in Seminole, Texas. We began by helping friends and local tradesmen create simple websites and logos that looked professional and functioned effectively. Our focus was always practical and straightforward: to provide skilled individuals with the tools they need to stand out and grow.
Merged with Hellagraphs
As our client base and capabilities grew, we merged with Hellagraphs, a creative partner that shared our passion for visual storytelling and branding. This allowed us to expand our services to include full content creation, social media, and branding work, while sharpening our style and strategy.
Rebranded as HG Creative
We officially changed our name to HG Creative to better reflect our mission and audience. We weren’t just building pretty websites anymore. We were becoming a strategic partner for builders, contractors, and trades-based businesses who needed real marketing results. The rebrand marked our shift to an industry-specific focus, and it’s been our identity ever since.
Expanded to Lubbock, TX
To better serve a growing number of clients across West Texas and beyond, we expanded our operations to Lubbock. The new location gives us better access to the businesses we serve while keeping us close to our roots in Seminole and the communities we’ve worked with since day one.
